The Journey Season 2 — A Moe Community Rewards Campaign
The Journey Season 2 is a community campaign dedicating to rewarding our most committed community members. Unfolding via ‘The Journey’, this campaign will tie directly into Merchant Moe’s immersive, narrative-driven community experience. Designed for dedicated community members and $MOE stakers, Season 2 has allocated up to ~100k $MNT in rewards to be distributed across two successive rounds.
Each round of Season 2, will last for approximately 3 weeks each. Utilizing the popular Guild.xyz, participants will unlock roles and accrue ‘Moe Journey Points’ (MJP) as rewards throughout the campaign. Snapshots will be taken every week and points accrued will be tracked over time. At the end of each round, the total sum of points from each snapshot taken will determine the allocation of MNT tokens. The first snapshot will take place on Friday, February 9th.
Users who participate in both rounds of Season 2 will also have the opportunity to unlock a Soulbound Moe NFT as a memento of their journey within the Moe community.
Campaign Structure
The overall campaign will be split up into three key categories — $MOE Staker, Moe Eco Advocate, and Ambassador Side Quests. Each will have their own set of roles which can be accomplished to earn additional MJP.
1️⃣ $MOE Staker
The $MOE Staker roles are based around a tiered system, with opportunities to earn more MJP with progressively more difficult (higher deposit) roles. These roles are unlocked based on the amount of veMOE accrued, which is directly proportional to the quantity of $MOE staked on Merchant Moe.
Each $MOE staked can accrue up to 1000 $veMOE in voting power with a 7-day ramp up to reach maximum veMOE. Any unstaking of $MOE will reset your veMOE to zero. This system prevents gamification and ensures that the MOE holders who stay staked throughout the campaign will earn the most points. Users can also participate in emissions governance throughout the campaign by voting with their accrued veMOE.

2️⃣ Moe Eco Advocate
Beyond simple staking, The Journey Season 2 is also focused on fostering a vibrant, engaged community. That’s where the Moe Eco Advocates come in. Users will be able to earn points and climb the leaderboard by attending weekly community AMA calls with partners. Here’s how it works:
Attend AMA Sessions: Participate in AMA sessions with Merchant Moe's ecosystem partners directly in our Discord.
Verify Attendance: Verify your attendance through QuestN where we'll host a simple quest for this purpose.
Earn Points: By verifying attendance, each participant receives 50 Moe Journey Points (MJP) per AMA session.
This segment is designed to reward active community members who engage with the Moe community and ecosystem throughout Season 2.
3️⃣ Ambassador’s Voyage — Side Quests
The Moe Ambassadors are a core group of distinguished Moe community members who have a track record of voluntarily supporting, engaging, and sharing within the community. The Ambassadors are leading the charge into Season 2 with the introduction of their very own Ambassador Voyage.
At the forefront of this Ambassador-led campaign, they will now hold the unique privilege of recognizing and honoring Community Heroes. Here’s what to expect:
Community Heroes Recognition: Moe Ambassadors will identify and honor active and contributing members of the Merchant Moe community, bestowing upon them the various Community Heroes titles.
Exclusive Rewards: Each designated Community Hero is rewarded with 250 Moe Journey Points (MJP) and granted an exclusive Discord role boosting their status and symbolizing their positive impact within the community. These Community Hero designations will be given out weekly, and these roles will rotate to new members.
Beyond recognizing heroes, Ambassadors also have plans to spearhead additional side quests. These activities aim to foster deeper connections within the community, offering more interactive opportunities to engage throughout the campaign.
🧭 Existing Points from OG Moe’s
The first season of The Journey allowed dedicated community member to rise through the ranks and become official OG Moe’s. These core community members are the pioneers of Moe’s exchange. To reward their early dedication and participation, all OG Moe’s will receive a 10% boost to their MJP’s earned throughout Season 2.
This campaign will allow Merchant Moe to reward the dedication of $MOE stakers and the vibrant participation of our community members. As Moe gears up for the Liquidity Book launch, this campaign will strengthens the bonds within our community and empowers our token holders, laying a solid foundation for our future as the cornerstone DEX of the ecosystem.
